My name’s Cam and I’m a writer from Bromley in South East London.
By day I work for an older people’s charity, writing and editing information material. By night (and on weekends) I write about a load of other stuff – everything from film retrospectives, to concert reports, to personal essays about hiking.
Some of the publications I’ve written for include Wonderland, Cineaste, Notion, Film Stories, Clash and Inside the Ropes.
The piece I’m probably most proud of (and that I hope best represents my writing) is Beanstalk’s Britain: a Still Listening article that shines a light on the online enigma, Sans Beanstalk. Documentary platforms like Andrew Callaghan’s Channel 5 and Kaynan’s Real Life is Wild have influenced me massively. Like these channels, I want to report on rarely-seen corners of society, and focus on fascinating individuals that deserve more recognition.
Thanks for looking over my work, and if you feel like I’d be a good fit for your platform, please feel free to get in touch. Cheers!
